The Massachusetts campaign finance law requires this office to review all reports to ensure that they are legal, complete and accurate. A routine review of your report(s) revealed the following issue(s) which may need correction, clarification or additional information to provide complete and accurate public disclosure of your campaign finance activity for the reporting period.
The report filed by your depository bank indicates that you made one or more deposits to your account in the preceding reporting period but there is no corresponding deposit report. Please e-file a deposit report for the below missing item(s) using Reporter 7 or the Gateway.
Pursuant to 970 CMR 2.14(4), unless such deposit reports are filed within fourteen (14) days of the date of this letter, a civil penalty will be assessed as required by the campaign finance law in the amount of $25 per day up to a maximum of $5,000 until such time as the reports are filed. In accordance with a ruling by the Supervisor of Public Records, this letter and all correspondence relating thereto is a matter of public record as of the requested date listed above. As such, it will be placed in the committee's public file at that time. Please respond to this request within two weeks of the date of this letter.
